Note 2 According to paragraph f of Article 9 of the Law No. 6225 dated 06.04.2011, the diplomas of those who have completed the relevant Health Physics Thesis Master’s program on Physics, Physics Engineering or Nuclear Energy Engineering education are approved by the Ministry of Health as “Health Physicists” within the framework of the relevant legislation and They gain the right to work in the Medical Sector as “Health Physicists”.

Note 3-Foreign national candidates and candidates who are citizens of the Republic of Turkey and have completed their entire undergraduate education abroad, in their applications and admissions to our Institute’s graduate programs; ALES score will not be required, provided that they graduate from undergraduate programs whose equivalence is accepted by the Council of Higher Education.   2. Applications will be made online at https://basvuru.ankara.edu.tr/
  3. Applications to graduate programs for the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year will be made only online through the link https://basvuru.ankara.edu.tr/, which will be active between 03-12 July 2024.
  4. Scientific evaluation exam will be held face to face. All candidates who submit a valid application will be taken to the scientific evaluation exam.
  5. The security key, which is automatically sent to the e-mail addresses declared by the candidates to the system during the application, must be kept.
  6. For final registration, candidates must upload the documents required by the Institute to the system between the final registration dates.
  7. The required documents will be uploaded to the system via the document upload button that will be active on the candidates’ application screen within the announced document upload dates.
  8. The results of candidates who make false declarations, incomplete documents and unsigned forms will be deemed invalid and their final registrations will be cancelled.
  9. Applications will be made “online” and applications by mail will not be accepted.
  10. The candidate’s application will not be valid unless the application is completed successfully by using the “Complete Application” button during the online application.
  11. After the online application period ends, no changes can be made to the information entered into the system.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • Windows operating system must be installed on the computer that will be used for the application. Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome should be used as the browser. Pop-up blocker must be turned off. Applications cannot be made or printouts cannot be received due to filterings of some of the public institutions. In such cases, an external computer should be used.
  • After the online application, a separate scientific evaluation exam call list will not be published. All applicants will be able to participate in the scientific evaluation exam.
  • Students who apply must print out the online application form after completing their registration through the system.
  • The printed online application form with wet signature must be delivered to the Institute Secretary or Student Affairs Chief on the scientific evaluation exam day (July 18, 2024) before taking the exam.
  • No documents will be uploaded during the online application, and an online document upload screen will be opened for our candidates who have the right to register after the scientific evaluation exam.
  • Scientific evaluation exam results of candidates who make false declarations, incomplete documents and unsigned forms will be deemed invalid and their final registrations will be cancelled.

  • Winning candidates must upload the documents required for final registration online to the website https://basvuru.ankara.edu.tr/ and then send them to the Directorate of the Institute of Nuclear Sciences (Ankara University 10th Yıl Campus Dogol Street Emniyet neighbourhood Beşevler 06100 Yenimahalle/ANKARA) must submit the requested documents in person or by power of attorney.

 

  • Evaluation will be made as ALES (50%), graduation grade point average (20%) and written scientific evaluation exam (30%). As a result of the evaluation, students will be recruited within the quota according to the ranking, among the candidates who have received at least 65 points and above in total for master’s programs, and among the candidates who have received at least 70 points and above in total for doctoral programs.

 

  • Graduation GPA must be entered in the hundred percent system. Otherwise, the system does not make calculations. For those who cannot officially document their 100-point system score from the university they graduated from, YÖK’s 100-point system translation table will be taken as basis. (Decision of Ankara University Senate dated 02/06/2020 and numbered 557/4948)

 

Documents that Turkish National Candidates must submit to the Institute during registration:

  • Signed Online Application Form (1 piece)
  • A certified copy of the Diploma or Temporary Graduation Certificate, (certified by the issuing institution or a notary; for documents received from foreign countries, it must be submitted with a notary-approved translation)
  • Notarized copy of the Equivalence Certificate received from the Council of Higher Education (Notary approved copy must also be submitted for diplomas received from abroad)
  • Certified copy of the transcript (certified by the issuing institution or notary public; for transcripts received from foreign countries, it must be submitted together with its notarized translation.)
  • Military Status Certificate (Documents with E-Government Barcode are valid)
  • Foreign Language Certificate*,
  • ALES Certificate,

  • Photocopy of Identity

Certified copies of all documents will be taken, and the documents of candidates who do not pass the exam will not be returned.

* For foreign language exams; The results of international exams whose equivalence is accepted by YDS, YÖKDİL or ÖSYM will be accepted.

 

!!! In accordance with the first article of the decision of the Ankara University Senate dated 06.06.2023 and numbered 604/5595, foreign national candidates and Turkish Republic national candidates who have completed their entire undergraduate education abroad, in their applications to programs that provide education in foreign languages, must complete their entire undergraduate/graduate education in the foreign language required for the program they are applying for. It has been decided that those who complete the course in the foreign language (provided that they document it) will be considered exempt from foreign language skills.

 

OTHER CONDITIONS

  • Those who will apply for graduate education must be at the Institute at least two full days a week to participate in laboratory studies during the program period.
  • Applications submitted with unapproved/incomplete/incorrect notifications and documents will not be
