Course Goals:
The course aims to introduce students to the thermoelectric theory and applications using a unique, “bottom up” approach to carrier transport that has emerged from research on molecular and nanoscale material sciences. Characterization techniques as well as applications of thermoelectrics to nuclear power plants will be discussed.
Course Learning Outcomes:
Statistical physics, solid state physics, applications to green power production
